Snow Cable Recommendation to Fit Tire Size 315/70-17

Question:

Hello, I need snow chains. Vehicle: 2014 Ford Raptor Tires: 315/70-17 Owners manual says do not use chains. California Highway patrol can say: no chains, turn around. Dealer Parts Dept says cables okay. Im looking at: PW2037C: Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains. Do you have experience with Ford Raptors? Are these cables okay? Comments?

Sounds like you got permission from Ford to run cables on the tires of your 315/70-17. This is basically the only way we can recommend someone run tire chains/cables on a vehicle if the owners manual says no.

For a set of cables to fit your tire size we have the # TC3029 which are currently the only fit for the low profile chain option.
