Adding a 7-Way and Brake Controller Wiring to a 2011 Ford Escape
Question:
My escape does not have factory wiring. I have already ordered Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector without factory tow package. I would like to use Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole w/Test Lamps Part # C57674. What other parts do i need for my installation and do you have any install videos to help me with this installation.

Expert Reply:
Because you will need some additional parts to complete the installation of a brake controller and 7-Way I recommend using installation kit # ETBC7 so you won't have to add a bunch of additional wiring, connectors, circuit breakers, and other parts like you would if you used # C57674. The ETBC7 kit comes with everything you will need. I have included some links that show and explain the installation for you.
