How to Pick Out Grease Cap for Trailer Hub
Question:
i have a 5000lb and 7000lb axle. i need dust capswith rubber center and the locking washer that goes behind the nut to hold bearings. do you know what parts i need by this information or will you need more?

We have several grease caps that could potentially work for the hub on the axle you have on your enclosed trailer, see link to the right.
To pick out the correct size one you will need to know the pilot hole diameter on your hub. To do this, remove the wheel and tire and remove the grease cap from the center of the hub. Usually it is a metal cap that is just lightly hammered into place. Use a screwdriver to pry off the cap.
Clean the grease off and measure the opening with a dial caliper like part # PTW80157 to get an exact measurement.
