Question:
i have a 2016 Hyundai Veloster and need to tow a small cargo trailer and was wondering if this trailer hitch part # C11254 will tow a trailer like 5x8 trailer or if that hitch could not then what could tow one of the trailers listed above? thanks God bless!

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer hitch part # C11254 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Hyundai Veloster and has the towing capacities of 1,000 lbs total trailer weight and 100 lbs tongue weight. That means a trailer that you want to tow would need to be pretty lightweight. You also would need to check the owners manual of your vehicle for the same capacities and be sure to stay under the lowest rated component in your setup.
For a ball mount you would want the part # C45572 for a 2 inch ball and # C45571 for a 1-7/8 inch ball. For trailer wiring you then would want the part # C56153.
