The 4-pole flat trailer wiring harness you referenced, part # 118400, does not fit your 2014 Ridgeline. It fits only earlier model years. And please note that this 4-pole wiring format carries only basic lighting signals - stop, turn and tail - but does not include a provision for 12V auxiliary power for maintaining the charge on a trailer-mounted battery, nor for any other functions. A similar 4-pole kit that does fit your 2014 Ridgeline (without the factory tow package) is part # C55585 from Curt. This simply plugs in at your taillights as shown in the linked video.

The RV-style 7-way socket found on most vehicles will carry a 12V auxiliary trailer power feed on the pin at the 1-o-clock position as you face the socket. Please refer to the linked photo.

If you need a 7-way you will first install a 4-pole kit like the one referenced above, and then to convert it to the 7-way format that includes 12V power you will use our kit # ETBC7. This kit includes all of the parts required to convert the 4-pole to a 7-way RV-style like the one shown in the photo. All of the lighting and power functions shown in the photo will then be available on your trailer connector. I have linked for you both an article and video that illustrate the ETBC7 installation.

I also included an article on trailer wiring that will show you all the formats available, including the RV-style 7-way you want to install.
