Brake Controller and Wiring Harness Recommendations for a 2011 Ford F-450 Cab and Chassis
Question:
I have a 2011 F-450 cab and chassis with built in brake controller in dash. is the wires for the 7 prong connector already in the harness to the rear or does some of them have to be installed? and do I need any other harnesses?

Your 2011 Ford F-450 cab and chassis will have the wiring already ran so you won't have to run any additional wires to the 7-Way. You can plug a brake controller into the truck using the appropriate brake controller wiring harness for your truck, # 3034-P. For a brake controller I recommend the P3 # 90195 because it is very versatile, has presets if you tow different trailers, and it has easy to understand diagnostics.
