Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 2003 Chevy Suburban that Cant Accept a Hitch from a 1995 Suburban
Question:
I have a 2003 Chevy suburban and would like to know if I can put a 1995 tow hitch on my 2003 suburban

Expert Reply:
The trailer hitches for the 1995 Chevy Suburban do not fit the 2003 models. We do have numerous hitches that will fit the 2003 though and I have included a link to them. The most popular option is # C15324. This is a Class V hitch with a 2 inch receiver. I have linked the instructions for you.
If your Suburban did not come with a trailer connector at the back you can add a 4-Way flat using # C59236.
The recommended ball mount is # C45341. It takes a ball with a 1-1/4 inch shank such as # C40085.
