It is not too often that a hitch from a 2001 model year vehicle will also fit that same vehicle 15 model years later, but in this case you lucked out! If you refer to the two linked pages you can see the hitch fits for both the 2001 and 2016 model year Honda Odyssey. Most of these hitches are common fits for both vehicles.

You'll want to check the safety sticker on your hitch to confirm its part number. This is important since hitch hardware CANNOT be re-used and you'll need the hitch part number to select the appropriate kit.
