Troubleshooting Weak Left Side Trailer Light Illumination
Question:
When I break my 2008 Nissan Titan truck with the trailer, the right light on the trailer works fine however the left side is dim. Is it a wiring problem? Can you help to specify what wire does what? Also the turn light on the left side also doesnt work. Can you help with figuring that out too.

Sounds like a weak ground on the left side trailer light. A weak ground will prevent all of the amperage needed for the light to fully illuminate from making it through the light thus making it appear dim.
What you will want to do is improve the ground of the light. If it grounds through the mounting hardware make sure it's attached to a clean metal surface that also attaches to the frame. If it grounds with a wire make sure that wire is connected to either a clean metal surface on the frame or all the way back to the main ground wire of the trailer.
I attached a couple help articles that you should find helpful as well.
