Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2003 Dodge Ram with a 4-Way
Question:
Hi, We have the break controller hookup in the front and have the controller installed but where do we tie in the 7 way plug in the back? We only have the 4 line hookup in the rear of the truck. Thanks!

For converting your 4-way to a 7-way you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # 37185 and part # 3020-P. Brake (blue) wire does not run all the way back to the 4-pole at the rear; it stops at the connector that is located under the driver's side wheel well. In order to finalize the installation you must splice into this wire and continue it to the blue wire of the # 37185.
Check out the help article I attached that covers how to install a brake controller in a Dodge truck like yours.
