Trailer Hitch with Highest Tongue Weight Capacity for a 2009 Ford Edge

I want to put a versahaul motorcycle carrier on my 09 ford edge. Highest tongue weight is the most important to me. which hitch would be best for this?

The hitches for your 2009 Ford Edge that offer the highest tongue weight, such as # 75992, are rated for 400 pounds tongue weight. However, what matters is the lowest rated component in the system and in this case it is the vehicle. At most it is rated for 350 pounds tongue weight if it has the optional towing package. With the standard towing package it is rated for 200 pounds tongue weight.
