Adding a 7-Way Trailer Connector and Brake Controller to a 2016 Ford Transit T250
Question:
This truck did not come with a towing package. There is a connector with 7 wires hanging down near the spare tire location. What do I need to wire this truck up for towing a trailer with brakes and what controller do I need and where do I hook the controller up?

Expert Reply:
In order to install a brake controller on your 2016 Ford Transit T250 you will first need to install a Curt T-Connector # C56327 and the # ETBC7 kit which comes with everything you will need to add the 7-Way and install the brake controller. The brake controller itself is not included but I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable.
