How To Find Replacement Brakes For EZ Loader Tandem Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a ez loader boat trailer with rusted out drum brakes and am trying to figure out which disk brake kit will fit it. Can you tell me what dimensions to figure into this? its a tandem axle but only one axle with brakes. And currently it has oil bath, but I see that the kits are not Oil bath, thanks,

The easiest way to find the correct replacement brake kit for you rtrailer is to remove a wheel and hub and find the numbers on the bearings.
I have attached a photo that shows where you can find the numbers on the hub components. It is typically stamped or etched into the side of the product. If you cannot read the numbers or cannot find then numbers you will need to measure the spindle inthe locations noted in the photo. You should also measure the inside diameter of the hub as noted on the photo. You will want to use a digital caliper like part # PTW80157 to measure, so you are sure to get the most acurate measurement you can.
After you get the numbers or the measurements let me know and I will be glad to make some recommendations that will work for you. I have attached links to a couple helpful articles you can check out.
