Adding a Brake Controller to an RV Built on a 2017 Ford E-450 Van Chassis
Question:
Class C motor home ford E450 I have the above vehicle and want to put an electric brake controller on it. Where is the factory plug and what is the number. Also what is the best controller for my vehicle Tekosha?

Expert Reply:
First check behind the center console on the passengers side or below the center console for a factory brake controller plug on the RV. If you find a plug and it has numerous pins then you would need brake controller harness # 3034-P. If it is more square with just 4 to 6 pins then you would need # 3035-P but it is unlikely that it will take 3035-P. I have linked videos featuring both harnesses for you.
I do recommend the Tekonsha P2 # 90885 because it is one of the most reliable controllers and it works well.
