Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Hitch Mount Bike Rack on 2007 Lexus GX 470

Hey All, Im impressed with your website!!! Questions are: 1 what hitch style bike rack do you recommend for a 2007 Lexus GX470 that will hold 2 mountain bikes and provide the best theft prevention of the bikes? 2 What theft prevention is there for for someone stealing the entire bike rack from the hitch? My 2007 Lexus GX470 rear door swings horizontal not up and down like a hatchback door. So, I want a hitch mount bike rack that allows me to open the back door while bikes are mounted on the rack. I want a rack that holds 2 heavy mountain bikes. I want a hitch that not only is worry free from someone stealing the bikes off the rack, but also a hitch mount bike rack that is worry free from someone stealing the entire rack itself right off the car by just taking the entire rack out of the hitch. For a trailer hitch receiver I suggest the Draw-Tite Max-Frame, part # 75155. This hitch is a 2 inch receiver opening Class III that is compatibel with your 2007 Lexus GX 470. I've attached an installation video on a 2004 that might be helpful to you.

The best bike rack for you is the RockyMounts BackStage, part # RKY10002. It's a platfrom rack that swings away from the rear of the vehicle giving you complete access to the rear cargo area.
