Difficulty of Installing a Trailer Hitch on a 2017 Porsche Macan with Backup camera
Question:
How difficult is this hitch to install on a 2017 Porsche Macan with back up camera? Will the bumper need to be cut or removed. Would a body shop or repair shop be able to do this install? I am using the hitch primary for my bike rack rather than towing a trailer.

For either of the trailer hitches for your 2017 Porsche Macan with backup camera, # C13136 or # 75940, rear fascia trimming is required. Between the 2 hitch # C13136 is slightly easier to install (takes less time).
There are under body panels that will need to be loosened or removed for installation. For the specifics I have included links to the instructions for you.
A body shop might not be the best choice for a professional installation but a repair shop or trusted mechanic friend could do it. They will have more of the proper tools for installation compared to a lot of body shops.
If you are going to have the hitch professionally installed and use it for a bike rack I recommend using Draw-Tite hitch # 75940. The reason is that with the Curt hitch Curt requires the use of stabilization strap # 18050 for any non-trailer load, such as a bike rack, for their warranty requirements. It is often difficult to find a place to attach the strap to the vehicle and/or the bike rack. Draw-Tite does not have that requirement.
