Does Installation Of Base Plates For 1988 Suzuki Samurai Use Tie-Down Loops
Question:
Baseplate #1003-1 will it simply bolt up to a stock 1988 Samurai? What about the tie down loops, does 1003-1 use these? Thanks

I have attached the installation instructions for the Roadmaster Classic Base Plate Kit, part # 1003-1 for your 1988 Samurai. Per the instructions the tie-down loops are actually used when installing the base plate. There is no drilling needed per the instructions. This will use existing holes on your Suzuki.
The tow bar I recommend is part # RM-020. For safety cables I recommend part # RM-643.
We do not show any lighting for your Suzuki so I recommend magnetic tow lights like part # TL21RK.
Since most states now require a supplemental brake system I recommend part # BLU37TR.
You want to tow your vehicle as level as possible so you may need a high-low adapter. I have attached a link to a helpful article that explains how to select the correct adapter and I also attached a link to the adapters we offer.
