Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2008 Toyota Tundra 6-1/2 ft Bed

Question:

Im looking to pull a 07 Dutchmen wild thing 32SG-M5 with a 2008 Tundra double cab not crewmax. What do you recommend for an offset hitch to provide clearance? I prefer to go with a gooseneck...

Since your 2008 Toyota Tundra has a bed length shorter than 8 feet you will need to go with a slider fifth wheel hitch setup. There isn't a way to give you the needed clearance with a gooseneck setup. There aren't any offset adapters that would provide enough clearance.

My favorite slider hitch is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide hitch part # DM8550034 which automatically slides back 14 inches around corners to give you the needed clearance. For a rail kit you then would want the custom install kit part # DM8552020-71.
