Recommended Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Conversion Setup for 2005 F-250 With 6-3/4 Foot Bed
Question:
I own a 2005 f250 with 6300-4449 setup currently, is there a 5th wheel conversion setup that I can use with that?

For your 2005 F-250 with the Draw-Tite Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Hitch, # 6300-4449, you can add an adapter for a 5th wheel connection but there are limited options. The best option that will work with your gooseneck hitch is the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset - 12" to 16" Tall # CAB-C5GX1216. This will make your king pin compatible with a gooseneck hitch ball. The only issue is some manufacturers won't allow this adapter without voiding a warranty, so you will want to check with your trailer manufacturer.
You can also change out your pin box on your trailer with a Reese Goosebox like # RP85FR but this is pin box number specific, so you will want to determine your pin box number for compatibility. This number is often right on the pin box of your trialer on a sticker or plaque.
