The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class IV - 2", # C14355, is a confirmed fit for your 2002 Ford F-150. This hitch has a 1000 lb tongue weight rating and a 10,000 lb maximum gross trailer weight rating. This will come with the hardware to install it. I've attached a video of this installation as well as the instructions for you. There is no drilling required for this installation, but your spare tire will have to be lowered or temporarily removed for installation.
To use this hitch receiver to tow, we will want a ball mount like the Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount Kit - 2 Chrome Balls - 4" Drop or Rise, # AM3460, to allow you to tow that heavy a load level. This ball mount has both a 2 inch and a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball.
To wire your truck, if you have the factory 4-way flat connector, we will want the F-150 Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness 7-Way, # 118242, you mentioned. We will also want the mounting bracket and screws, # 18138. If you do not have a factory 4-way, then we will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # C56031, and then the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat, # ETBC7.
If you don't have a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195. If you have the factory 4 way on your truck, then you will just need wiring harness # 3035-P to easily connect to the plug under the dash. I've included a video for you to see this simple installation. If you do not have the factory 4-way, then the # ETBC7 kit will be used to connect the brake controller to the 7-way so you will be able to utilize trailer brakes.
