Flat Towing Lights Recommendation for 2016 Jeep Wrangler Since Magnetic Cant be Used

Question:

I like to tow my 2017 Jeep Wrangler behind our RV and like the magnetic light kit.Since the bumper cover is plastic and the hardtop is plastic it needs to have the magnets on the back ,so I can attach these to the backdoor.Are there any?

The removable lighting solution to use on a 2016 Wrangler is the part # RM-2120 as this will install between the tailgate. The magnetic lights aren't a fit for your vehicle realistically since there isn't a place to attach them. A customer of ours used this kit on his 2015 Wrangler and here is how he said he was able to install the kit.

I open the tailgate to first hang the passenger side light then close the tailgate which serves to lock the passenger light in place and allow enough of an opening to hang the driver side light and quickly close the tailgate. You will be able to move the lights to fine tune their positions.You will also want to route the cable from the door to under the hood to avoid scratches to the hood.
