Recommended Cargo Carrier for 2010 Ford Explorer with 2 Inch Receiver

I have a 2010 Ford Explorer with a 2 class III hitch. I need a hitch cargo carrier and have no idea what to look for when purchasing one. I am mainly carrying luggage on road trips. Can you help me choose?

I would recommend the etrailer 24 x 60 Railed Cargo Carrier, part # e98874. This carrier has a 500 pound capacity, a mesh floor to help hold your cargo, and folding and tilting features.
Also offered are some accessories for the carrier that you might want to consider. A light kit like part # e98943-44LED which provides tail lights on the rear of the carrier in the event that the tail lights on your Explorer are obscured when the carrier is loaded. We also offer a Cargo Bag, part # e98990 that can hold 9 cubic feet of storage space. I would also recommend the Anti-Rattle Locking Hitch Pin, part # SR25219.
