Hitch Extender Recommendation for 2016 Jeep Wrangler  

Question:

Looking for a 2inch hitch extender for a 2016 Jeep JK unlimited. I must be able to us a anti-rattle lock on the extender. Your suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

For most Jeep Wrangler applications the Brophy Hitch Extender part # HE06 which provides 7-5/8 inches of additional length to the hitch would work well. I attached a review video that shows it being used in a similar Wrangler as yours. You should note that using a hitch extender will cut the capacity of the hitch by 50 percent.

For an 8 inch extender we have the Curt part # C45791.

How long of an extender you would need will depend on how much clearance your bike rack would require. But most likely either of the extenders I mentioned would work well.

For an anti-rattle lock we have the part # 63232 as well.
