Will Curt Class I Hitch C11367 Fit 2014 BMW 435i Coupe with Dual Exhaust
Question:
Hey guys! Thank you for the very informative answers and pictures. So my ultimate question, I did read its intended for single muffler models. What about duals? 435. Is it simply an inconvenience that can be solved around or is it a hard incompatibility? Thanks!

Curt hitch # C11367 is considered a fit for the 2014 BMW 435i Coupe with dual exhaust. I confirmed this with my contact at Curt.
Installation of this hitch will be fairly challenging. You'll need to remove the taillights, heat shield, splash guards, portions of the wheel wells, bumper cover and bumper beam. The installation instructions are linked for you; these include a listing of the tools required. The hitch will be attached to the frame using OEM hardware already in place on the vehicle.
If you use this hitch for a bike or cargo carrier you'll also need Curt's stabilizing strap # 18050, use of which is a warranty requirement per Curt. It is not needed for towing a wheeled trailer.
