The only parts you will need to install the Tekonsha P2 brake controller on your 2010 Ford F-150 with tow package are the brake controller itself and the correct wiring adapter. You will need the brake controller # 90885 and the wiring harness adapter # 22292. I have included the installation instructions for you. I have also included a video showing the harness being installed on a 2009 model which will be very similar to your 2010. The port to plug in the harness could also be up under the dash. I have included a second video showing this type of installation. The # 3034-P part number you referenced is for the F-250, and F-350 versions of your truck.
If your tow packaged included a 4-Way flat connector and not a 7-Way, you will also need the Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole, # 37185. The 4-Way will plug into the back of the # 37185 and the remaining wires will need to be hardwired. The white wire will need to be attached to the vehicle frame. The black and blue wires will be route towards the front of the vehicle using wire # 10-2-1. The last wire can be connected to a reverse light wire behind one of the vehicle taillights. The 10-2-1 wire is a duplex cable containing a black and white wire. Connect black to black and white to blue from this cable to the # 37185 harness. It is sold in 1 foot increments and I recommend 20 feet to ensure you have plenty of wire.
For the black wire, it will need to be attached to the positive battery terminal via a 40 amp circuit breaker, # PK54540. The blue wire will need to be routed into the vehicle cab. On the brake controller harness, you will need to cut the blue wire before the plug on the vehicle side and splice it to the wire you routed into the cab.
