Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack and Hitch Compatibility on a 2007 Ford Edge
Question:
Hi, I have two questions Im hoping you can help me with. We are looking to get a 4 bike hitch mount bike rack. We have a 2007 Ford Edge and Im leaning towards the Thule T2 Pro 4 Bike with the Item # 75992 hitch receiver. I want to first check that with that vechicle/rack/hitch combination everything will work correctly, and second can the 4-bike Thule be converted back to a 2 bike rack? Thanks in advance,

The Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV with 2 Bike Add-On # TH9036XT will work with the Draw-Tite trailer hitch, # 75992 on your 2007 Ford Edge. This setup can be converted from a 2 bike rack to a 4 bike rack and vice versa. The front 2 bike positions can be removed to accomplish this conversion. I have attached a review video of the bike rack for you to check out.
The Draw-Tite hitch, # 75992, is a Class III hitch that is made specific for the 2007 Ford Edge. This hitch does require drilling, the exhaust heat shield must be modified, and the exhaust must be temporarily lowerd for installation.
