What Size Nut Fits on Replacement Stainless Steel T-bolt 853-5648

Question:

I see the measurements of this bolt expressed as a mix of metric and SAE units. Can you tell me what actual metric nut size is required to mate with these T bolts?

The 1.5x22mm is actually a common designation. The 1.5 is 1.5mm and is referring to the pitch. The 22 is 22mm and is the length of the threaded part. The diameter is 3/8 but since it is metric that would equate to 10mm. So you would need a 10mm nut that has a pitch of 1.5mm.
