Should Ball Mount of Draw Tite Hitch part # 24913 be In Rise or Drop Position
Question:
Good morning, I have the Sportframe Drawbar 2-1/8inch Rise or 2-3/4inch Drop 2000# Kit. I remember reading the directions, which I cant find now that this must be in position correct? And if so why? its on a Toyota Corolla 2004. The thank you

Expert Reply:
The ball mount that comes with the Draw Tite hitch part # 24913 for your 2004 Toyota Corolla must be used in the rise position only. The hitch sits so close to the ground that if the ball mount was in the drop position the trailer's nose would be sitting way too far down to be level.
The ball mount replacement would be the part # 3593.
