Recommended Bike Carrier For 2016 Ford Focus RS

Question:

Im looking to find a trailer hitch that stows away, out of sight for my 2016 ford focus RS. is this something that you guys can provide? Ideally i would not want to have a hitch showing at all times. Thanks for the help!

Because of the lower rear fascia and the exhaust there is no aftermarket trailer hitch available for your 2016 Focus RS.

If you are looking to carry bikes I recommend a trunk mount carrier. When not in use you can just fold it up and put it in your truck or store it at home. The bike carrier I recommend is the Thule OutWay, part # TH45JV. This bike rack uses 2 reinforced cables to secure the bike rack to the vehicle where most trunk mount carriers use 6 straps.

If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
