Weight Distribution System Recommendation for 2015 Ford F-150 Towing 8,000 lb Trailer

Question:

2015 F150 4x4. Used only for towing, not a daily driver. Cant find any info on whats better, the full kit sumo spring or leaf spring. I tow a 8,000 lb camper and really need stiff things up a lot. which of the 2 springs provide the least amount of sag? which is stiffer? Thx.

Actually I have a much better solution than suspension enhancement for your 2015 Ford F-150. A weight distribution system will reduce the sag like you are looking to do but since it does this by redistributing some of the trailer tongue weight up to the vehicle front axle you end up improving the handling and braking of the tow vehicle as well. Because of that it's the way to go. Plus when the truck isn't towing you wouldn't have to deal with harsher suspension which would be unpleasant if you went with suspension enhancement.

For an 8,000 lb trailer you would be looking at a tongue weight of between 800 and 1,200 lbs. So the WD system you would want is the part # RP66084 which has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and features the only sway control on the market that fights sway before it starts.

For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
