Can Pollak Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket # HM40975 Attach to a Trailer Hitch
Question:
Removed OEM hitch and installed Curt #15000. I need to re-install wiring bracket. The OEM hitch was simply drilled to mount the bracket. Can I drill the new Curt? I think the holes 2 are no more than 1/8 dia.

For this application, installing the Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket - Vehicle End, # HM40975, directly to the trailer hitch on your 2008 Ford Super Duty is not advisable. The ideal location would be to the mount it to the truck like in the video linked below.
