Can Reese SC Weight Distribution Spring Bars be Converted to Use Chain Hanging Brackets

Technically yes, you could use a chain, # 55630, on a Reese SC spring bar. But you will also need the lift brackets or chain hangers. For the lift brackets you would need # RP21501 sold in quantities of one. Or you can get a pair with a lift handle # RP6637.

Another option is to use chain hangers that bolt to the sides of the frame. For a set use # RP58305.
