Best Goose Neck and 5th Wheel Hitch Options for a 2016 Crew Cab Ford F350 DRW
Question:
I have a 2016 crew cab F350 DRW, the truck does not have the puck system in the bed. What is my best option for a tow hitch package that would combine a goose neck option and fifth wheel hitch option? I have a drop in liner currently and plan to have a spray in liner put on soon to replace the drop in.

I would start off with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1111. This a no drill or weld custom kit and is compatible with 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty 6-3/4 foot and 8 foot beds.
Add on the standard Companion fifth-wheel hitch # BWRVK3500-5W that attaches directly to the Turnoverball in an 8 foot bed. There will be no additional parts needed to tow your fifth-wheel trailer.
For a short bed truck, you would use the B&W Companion Slider hitch # BWRVK3400 instead of the standard Companion. This fifth-wheel trailer hitch also adapts your Turnoverball gooseneck hitch. The slider gives you an additional 12" of back & forth movement to ensure proper cab clearance when turning. Keep in mind that this fifth-wheel trailer hitch is not compatible with Sidewinder or Revolution king pins. Do not use any equipment that modifies the pivot point of your trailer's king pin with this hitch.
I suggest installing a 7-Pole wiring connection # C56000 in your truck bed for added convenience as well.
