What Prevents Trailer Sway When Towing
Question:
Im going to get a pop up trailer to pull behind by toyota Tacoma with a factory installed tow package. Im concerned with sway from the trailer and dont want to change out my hitch receiver square female on my truck, if possible. What product would you recommend for me? Thank you.

The best way to fight trailer sway is to have the trailer loaded properly by having 10-15 percent of the total trailer weight as tongue weight and by having the trailer sit as level as possible. I attached a help article that details how to determine the correct rise/drop ball mount you would need.
If your trailer is loaded properly and sitting level when you are towing you should not experience any sway unless there is a suspension problem on the trailer.
For a sway control system that will help prevent sway due to wind or large vehicles passing the part # 83660 would work great.
