For a fan setup that would work well for your 22-1/2 inch wide setup the Derale 22-1/2" Dual, High-Output Electric Radiator Fan w/ Aluminum Shroud # D16830 would be a fantastic option assuming it would fit for a vehicle like your 1996 Dodge Ram with 5.9 liter Cummins that would need some serious cooling power.
This setup has a shroud and dual fan setup that can move up to 3,750 CFM which would do a great job cooling the radiator. The fan diameters are 11 inches. Overall dimensions of the setup are 22-1/2" wide x 19" tall x 4-1/2" deep. You would need to compare that to your current radiator setup to confirm it will fit.
