Weight Distribution Recommendation for Car Hauler that Will See 400 to 700 lbs

Question:

I have a 2010 F150 Max Tow Crew. I only pull my car hauler a couple times per year. Car Hauler is 4000 Empty weight with tongue of 400#. I haul up to 2000# worth of cargo which puts me at 6000# total and a tongue weight of 600# calculated based on mfg claims on 10 TW. So in all, im averaging between 400 to 600# TW. Max on trailer is 7000# and TW of 700#. Is this load range of the WD hitch appropriate? Also, are brackets available for a second trailer? Thanks,

For a weight distribution system that would have a tongue weight range that fits between 400 and 700 lbs the part # RP66541 would be the best option. It has a tongue weight range of 400 to 800.

You should note that you will have to set the system for each of the tongue weights that the trailer will see so that it works properly.

For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286. For additional frame brackets you would need the part # RP6637. For chains you would need the part # 55630.
