Using a Cargo Carrier with Ramp for a Scooter on a 2013 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Can I install a scooter ramp with this hitch? I installed the hitch but when I installed the ramp the ramp was dragging on the ground sometimes. Have any other costumers installed a ramp with this hitch? If so, did they have problems with the ramp dragging?

Trailer hitches on mini vans like your 2013 Honda Odyssey sit very close to the ground because the vehicles themselves are so low. There will be situations like this where hitch mounted accessories can make contact with the ground which is what is happening in your situation.
In order to combat this I recommend using a cargo carrier with a ramp that has a rise in the shank so that there is more ground clearance. For example Pro Series carrier # PS10401-10402 has a 4 inch rise in the shank.
Another option is to use # D210 in the hitch and put your cargo carrier in the receiver portion for more height. The receiver part is rated for 350 pounds so the combined weight of the carrier and scooter cannot exceed that.
