Where do I install the extra blue wire on my 2004 Nissan Frontier which already has a 4 pin flat wire harness installed

Typically the blue wire on the Adapter 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter, part # 20036, is run to the reverse light circuit of the tow vehicle to provide a reverse lockout feature for the surge brakes on the trailer.
If this is the case, you will remove your tail light assembly, find the positive wire that runs to your reverse lights and use the included quick splice connector to splice the blue wire from the # 20036 into your reverse light circuit.
