Which Husky Centerline Weight Distribution System for a 4,300 lb Trailer

Question:

I have a 09 F150 stock with a husky center line sway control for my trailer. Trailer weight is about 4300, my truck can tow 6500 should I also use helper springs to tow this trailer or will the husky center line distribute enough weight for me.

A properly rated and set up weight distribution would not require the truck to have helper springs installed. In most cases doing so causes the ride quality to suffer as it would get harsher.

The Husky Centerline system you would want for your trailer weight of 4,300 lbs would be the part # HT32217 which has a tongue weight range of 600-800 lbs. Your tongue weight is most likely going to be 650 lbs. If your tongue was lighter instead you would want the part # HT32215 which has a tongue weight range of 400-600 lbs.
