Recommended Replacement Hitch Pin For Yakima DoubleDown Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier
Question:
I have a Yakima doubledown 4 bike carrier and I need a 1/2 inch bolt and pin to attach the carrier to my 2 inch hitch, do you carry replacement part? I see you carry one for the doubledown but no dimensions are given for the bolt. Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since most bike carrier manufacturers use proprietary threads for their bike carrier like the Doubledown, the dimensions are not freely acquired.
We have the replacement hardware, part # Y8890176 you can use to secure the bike carrier to the trailer hitch.
If you are looking for a locking hitch pin that will work for your DoubleDown carrier I recommend part # Y07235.
