I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch, # 75902, for your 2016 Nissan Rogue. It will serve your needs for a bike rack as well as your light weight motorcycle trailer. The approximate measurements are 5 inches to center of pin hole from the outermost part of the rear bumper and 14 1/4 inches from the ground to the top inside portion of the receiver, so this should maintain the fairly concealed appearance you are looking for. I have attached a best trailer hitch video so you can see the comparisons as the Curt Class III, # C13204, has a higher tongue weight but is slightly less concealed.
You will also need a ball mount, and I suggest our etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit, # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 2" ball and a 1-7/8" ball along with the pin and clip.
Since you will be towing, you will need a wiring harness. The 2016 Nissan Rogue T-One with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # 118480, will be a direct fit.
