Recommended Hitch Pin Compatible with Trailer Hitch Receiver Mounted Forged Tow Eye # TR63045
Question:
Is this the receiver pin that I need to purchase with the Tow Ready 63045 Trailer Hitch Receiver? If not, what pin do I need to purchase? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Trailer Hitch Receiver Mounted Forged Tow Eye, # TR63045, will accept a hitch pin that is 5/8 inch diameter and at least 2 inches long. The Pin and Clip, # PC3, that you have referenced will fit. I recommend a locking hitch pin, like the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Flush Design, # e98888, to deter theft. I have included a video review that features this lock below.
