Can a Slider 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch be Used in a Long Bed 2016 GMC Sierra 3500

Will this hitch work in a long bed application or is a new hitch recommended?

Expert Reply:
You can use a slider hitch such as # BWRVK3270 in a long bed truck if you want but it isn't necessary and you won't have to slide it back. If you do not already have a hitch then I recommend going with the fixed version, # BWRVK3255, to save some money.
If you do not already have 5th wheel rails installed in your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 long bed I recommend custom installation kit # RP50066-58. Custom kits install easier and quicker than universal kits and require less drilling.
