Kit Recommendation for Converting Hydraulic Drum Trailer Brakes to Electric Over Hydraulic
Question:
I need a break actuator for my trailer. Its a tandem trailer for a boat . The breaks are hydrolic drum . I see you have one . Electric / hydrolic . But will it plug into my Dogde Ram 1500 4*4 2011? And the hydrolic lines on my trailer?

Expert Reply:
For an electric over hydraulic drum actuator for your trailer you would want the part # HS381-9066. This comes with every thing needed electronically for the trailer and would be all you need since you already have brake assemblies and brake lines ran.
On your truck you would need to have a brake controller installed on it that is compatible with electric over hydraulic brake setups like the Prodigy P2 part # 90885.
The install harness you would need is the part # 3021-P which will plug into the controller and then to the port under your truck dash.
