Recommendation for a Platform Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack to Clear the Spare Tire on a Hummer H3

Question:

I'm concerned if this will work for my Hummer H3. From the pin hole of my reciever to the rear side of the spare tire is around 10 inches. If not, what racks are my options? I tend to like this cradle style best, rather than hanging. I have also looked at the Yakima version....

Since you have 10 inches between the center of the hitch pin hole and the rear side of the spare tire on your Hummer H3, the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT Bike Carrier, # TH92BJ, is not a good choice.

The Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Hitch Mounted Folding Rack, # Y02443, measures 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the first bike tray, but 7 inches when folded. This rack will clear the spare tire but only in the towing position. I have included a link to the installation details and a video review below.
