When choosing a weight distribution and sway control system, you will want to install one that has a tongue weight capacity range that encompasses your trailer tongue weight. Tongue weight should be between 10 and 15 percent of the gross trailer weight, or in your case, 600 to 900 pounds. With this is mind, I recommend a system with a range of 600 to 1,200 pounds like the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System with Sway Control, # RP66084.
This system comes with built in dual-cam sway control that stops trailer sway before it starts. This system is similar to the # RP66074 but has 2 key differences. The # RP66088 comes with the required shank and it uses round bars instead of trunnion bars. If you decide on the RP66074 that you have referenced, you would need to add the shank, # RP54970, or # AMAC1. For either system, you will need a properly sized hitch ball, # 19286 (2-5/16 inch diameter) or # A-90 (2 inch diameter). I have included a link to the installation details for both systems below.
If you just want to add sway control, you will need to use friction sway control like Friction Sway Control for Weight Distribution Systems, # 17200. You will also need Reese Sway-Control Bracket, # RP26003 for 2 inch ball mounts or # RP26005 for 1-1/4 inch ball mounts.
