Installing Pollak Trailer Connector Socket HM40975-11933 on 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

Hi, I would like to know where does the square connector connects to on the Cherokee Trailhawk? Diagrams or videos will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

The Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975-11933 will plug in on a suitably-equipped 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk at the factory-installed OEM connector under the rear bumper. This is a direct replacement part for the OEM part. Since the harness portion of this part is fairly short (about 10-inches end to end) you should find the OEM connector very near to the original 7-way. We do not yet happen to have a video for this part on your exact vehicle.

If your Trailhawk did not come with the factory 7-way then you can still install one. You'll need to start off with a 4-pole flat trailer harness such as Tow Ready # 118605 and then convert that to a 7-way using our # ETBC7 kit. This includes all parts needed to install a fully-functional 7-way. Helpful videos and an article are linked for you to guide your installation.
