Hitch Lock to Fit Wider Exterior of 2014 Toyota Tundra OEM Hitch Tube
Question:
2014 Toyota Tundra stock hitch receiver: Would like to know if you have spacer rings that fit the Toyota receiver hitch? The stock holes where the pin is inserted, is larger in diameter than most standard trailer ball mounts and pins. This causes movement when towing my trailer. Movement, that could potentially result in wear or damage. Has this come up before? Tnx,

Toyota OEM hitches can have extra material around their exterior to reinforce the hitch tube. This can make it necessary to use a longer hitch pin that can span this wider dimension. The actual hitch pin hole diameter of all 2-inch hitches is 5/8-inch. A standard hitch pin for this size hitch is part # PC3. If the actual diameter of your hitch pin hole is larger then it may have been rounded out by wear. If this is the case I suggest you check with your local dealership to ensure the hitch is still safe to use.
If you need a longer hitch lock that can span the wider OEM hitch on your Tundra you can use part # e98881 which is shown in the linked video.
