Will Reese Square Tube Slider 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch RP30051 Fit Universal Base Rails
Question:
Will I be able to use the existing rails that are already in my 1996 Chevy They are a universal rail. Also will this hitch work. My other hitch fixed. And was stolen and now I want to replace it with a slider.

Yes, the Reese Square Tube Slider 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30051 will fit fine in your industry-standard universal 5th wheel base rails. You may care to add a hitch lock # TR63254 to help protect your new hitch from theft.
If you want a new 5th wheel wiring harness for your truck you can use # 20023 from Draw-Tite.
