Hitch and Rola Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid

Question:

I am looking to purchase a tow hitch and bike rack combo for my 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium and found Curt C12091 and Rola TX-102 on your website. First - I would like to confirm fit for my vehicle as it is a hybrid and may be slightly different than the standard Fusion. Second - I have read that the bike rack is rather wobblyfoot in the 1 1/4inch configuration. Is there an add-on I can purchase to eliminate rattling/wobbling? Last - I would like a recommendation for a hitch lock for this unit as it does not come with one perhaps to be used in conjunction as an anti-rattle device?. If there is another hitch and/or rack that is recommended - please let me know! Thank you for your help!

For a trailer hitch for your 2014 Ford Fusion for carrying a bike rack you would want the Draw Tite hitch part # 24897 which is a confirmed fit and does not require the use of a stabilizer strap like the Curt hitch you mentioned does. This has been confirmed as a fit for your Fusion Hybrid Titanium as well.

The Rola TX-102 you mentioned would fit this hitch well but has been discontinued.

The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Thule Camber 2 part # TH9058. We asked our demo and install guys to name their favorite, most easy-to-use bike racks and this one showed up in nearly everyone's top three. Check out the review video I attached for more info.

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
